HURRICANE JEANNE DAMAGE REPORT ON COMMUNITIES

ABACOA – New Haven, Cambridge, Osceola Woods, Somerset, Valencia, The Island, San Palermo, Tuscany, Charleston Court – Looks good however additional tiles blown off and more trees have fallen, as well as, signs down.

ABACOA /CAMBRIDGE  - Monday, 12:00 PM - Observed minimal signs of wind damage throughout the property, including landscaping, street signs, street lights, homes, and community property (pool/community building). Little or no obvious new property damage was noted. Utilities appear to be ON throughout the property. OVERALL DAMAGE: Minimal

ABACOA/OSCEOLA WOODS - Monday, 12:00 PM - Observed moderate wind damage throughout property to signs, decorative shutters, gutters, and landscaping (especially staked trees); **SAFETY WARNING** Sewer manholes are "weeping" onto the streets - Use caution and avoid standing or ponding water, as there may be bacterial elements present. CHILDREN SHOULD NOT PLAY IN OR NEAR STANDING WATER. Utilities appear to be ON throughout the property. OVERALL DAMAGE: Moderate.

ABACOA/TUSCANY  - Monday, 12:00 PM - Observed minimal signs of wind damage throughout the property, including landscaping, street signs, street lights, homes, and community property (pool/community building). Little or no obvious ­new property damage was noted. Utilities appear to be ON throughout the property. OVERALL DAMAGE: Minimal

BALLANTRAE - Power, water and phones are all on. UPDATED:  Power and water and phones are on.

BAYPOINTE IN PALM CITY – Drive thru on Monday PM or Tuesday AM.  UPDATED:Extensive roof and screen enclosure damage. Landscape cleaned up.

BAYTOWNE - Monday, 12:00 PM - Entryway ID sign is damaged; minor landscaping damage throughout the property, however the Landscapers are already working on clean-up today. Construction sites fared well, no obvious damage noted. Pool area relatively undamaged. NOTE: Passage to and from Baytowne (through Jonathan's Landing) is hampered in some areas due to trees on the roadways. The North A1A gate to JLPOA was closed as of 12Noon, however the South A1A gate and the Indiantown gate on the North side of JLPOA were open. Utilities appear to be ON throughout the property. OVERALL DAMAGE: Minimal.

BEACHCOMBER – Lots of roof tiles missing.  Units facing A1A had significant roof tile loss. UPDATED:  Following Screen enclosure were damaged: A-3, B-1, C-1, C-2, D-2, D-4, F-2, H-2, K-2.    Following have shutter damage:D-2, N-1, L-1, K-3.   Rood damage same as frances. Tree on A/C unit for B-4, tree has been removed.  Gutter damage on K Building. Numerous fence and storage doors destroyed. 

BEDFORD AT LAKE CATHERINE – .

BENT TREE – Damage to landscaping, windows and roof tiles. significant common area damage, signage is missing.

CANOE CREEK – Has electricity.Roads are clear, water level in drainage ditches down.  Additional roof, landscape and screen enclosure damage. 

CARLTON OAKS – Roads are clear.  Additional roof, landscape and screen enclosure damage.  Power is on. Debris is still being cleaned up.  Crews are coming Thursday to reinstall the trees.

CHARTER CLUB  -  Road is clear.  Have power.  Additional screen enclosure damage and landscape damage.

COLONY CONDO IN JUNO BEACH – The south east of the East Building the mansard roof totally blown off.

COVENTRY – More downed trees, some missing roof tiles, fences and globe lights need repairs throughout the community. Power back on last night. Pool closed.

CRANE CREEK - Streets are open.  Additional landscape debris.  Additional roof and screen enclosures damaged.

CYPRESS COVE –   Significant flooding in the streets.  Other than that, minimal damage. Only three locations that have water now. UPDATED:  Two trees down at entrance; tree down outside gate, common area. No structural damage to any homes reported

DOUBLETREE/LOST LAKE GOLF CLUB – Lots of streets flooded. We don't know yet if any homes flooded.  Lakes overflowing.

EAGLES NEST - Looks good. UPDATED:  Fewer trees uprooted with this hurricane. Some fence damage. No major damage in general.

EGRET LANDING – Flooding of main roadway into Egret Landing and trees down. Lost tennis fencing and some damage to clubhouse roof - missing tiles. 

EGRET POND – Water level down in streets. Rear pond level brought water past homes into street.  Additional exterior and landscape damage

EMERALD LAKES VILLAS - Some trees are down. The Landscape company is removing the debris that is located on the street.  Several homes have damage to their screen enclosures. There is no power or phone service as of today.

ESTUARY – Roof leaks -  Tiles strapped on the roofs stayed there.  

ESTUARY NORTH RIVER SHORES - Roof  & window damage.  No power.

EVERGREEN – Power is on at gatehouse.  Additional landscape debris, and damaged screen enclosures. UPDATED: Debris picked up, power on.

FALLS – Trees down but looks okay.

FLORIDA CLUB –  No electric,  Pool & tennis courts closed, gates are open.  Some screen enclosure damage.  Damage also to some solar panels.  House look OK. UPDATED: Power is on.

FOXWOOD – Trees down, roads passable.  No electric.

GEORGIAN PARK –  A lot of roof damage, siding damage and fences down.

HAMPTONS – Again lots of trees down. Streets flooded and lakes overflowing. UPDATEDTrees down, irrigation system compromised by uprooted trees; some screen damage to individual homes.  Debris being removed daily.

INDIAN CREEK –
Keystone - significant roof tile damage and some leaks in units reported.  Additional trees down.  Wingfoot - Windows blown out - 3 units.  Muirfield - Dumpster doors, electrical doors blown out. Monterey Villas - Looked good.

ISLAND CREST – They have not let us on Hutchinson Island yet.  However, we know there is extensive damage.  The tidal surge came thru all the 1st floors. UPDATED: Sand throughout the first floor.  Sand came through the back and not the front.  Swimming pool is also full of sand.  No roof damage with the exception of roof vents. UPDATED:  Ground floor under 5 feet of sand. All windows on oceanside are broke.  Recreation Center is buried, major damage.  No elevator, water or sewer.  Have some electric, not on ground floor, is shut off. UPDATED:  Have water and sewer.  UPDATED: No electric yet.

ISLAND HOUSE NORTHEAST – Lost a couple of air conditioners.

ISLAND HOUSE SOUTHEAST – Water intrusion into the penthouse lobby and hallway. Penthouse lobby door blow out, carpet saturated. Hallway ceiling on 4th floor saturated in many spots including outside elevator. No electric.  . All apartments except 302 OK per flashlight review. Will inspect when electric is back up.  Entire PVC fence is down Shady Lady Black Olive tree at south entrance is gone.

ISLAND VILLAGE I - Can't get on Hutchinson Island yet.  However, there was extensive damage on the island due to wind and tidal surge. UPDATED:  Possible sand & water intrusion in bottom units facing east. No water or power.  AC units scattered around, still checking. Unit 5D sliding glass door shattered, placing plywood over door. UPDATED:  Power is back on. UPDATED:  Have water now also.

ISLANDIA EAST - Can't get on Hutchinson Island yet.  However, there is extensive damage from tidal surge that went through all the 1st floors.  UPDATED: No electric, no water, massive sand intrusion, first floor totally destroyed, most shutters held. per owner who stayed in unit.  UPDATED:  Partial electric and partial power to guard house.  Crossovers gone.  Generator giving partial power to elevators.  No water, pool closed until further notice.  Damage to the restrooms. UPDATED:  Full power, partial water.

JONATHAN’S LANDING -
Port Dickinson - Looks good.  Minor landscape damage.  Cresson Island - Magnolia trees down again on the island and will have to be staked again.  Crosswinds, looks good - mostly landscape damage.  Longshore - more landscape damage but minor. Bridgegate North & South - Canopy at pool street light in front of 17280 had top knocked off by branch & top lying on ground.   

JUNO SHORES RESORT – No problems, 1 broken window in kitchen of 404.

JUPITER LANDINGS – More roof damage and siding this time.  Trees down. Fences down. Electric back up.

JUPITER PLANTATION – Extensive patio and fence damage.  Trees down.  Continued shingle loss, but structure fine.  Dock fine because all boats were removed. All electric on except a small pocket area.

JUPITER YACHT  - All 3 structures fine – Electric on in all 3 bldgs.  Some water intrusion in units.  
  • THE POINT @JUPITER YACHT CLUB - 104 – Water on floor107 – Bedroom carpet wet108 – Bedroom carpet wet; 202 – Left Bedroom carpet wet.  Baseboard damage by fixed window.  Dried water spot;on wood floor by kitchen slider207 – Baseboard damage in office bedroom.  Master bedroom carpet pad wet around sliders and fixed window208 – Baseboard damage in master bedroom.  Puddle in living room.   No damage result of 308;  306 – Area rug under bed wet307 – Bedroom carpet wet. (really wet) 308 – Water in master bedroom501 – Water in master bedroom502 – Water under sliders (west walls).  Carpets wet both bedrooms504 – Water in bedrooms, dining room, living room506 – Bedroom carpet wet,  507 – Bedroom carpet wet601 – Wet carpet by slider in bedroom on right.  Bedroom 3 – rug wet, not bad604 – Water Damage; 606 – Damage; 608 – Water Damage.
  • THE MARINER @ JUPITER YACHT CLUB- Both residential and service elevators on the east side of the building not working. Air Conditioning in common areas not working. Some units reported water intrusion. Pool closed.
  • THE ADMIRAL@ JUPITER YACHT CLUB All systems working. Pool closed.

KEYSTONE - Aftermath of both storms revealed a large number of reported roof leaks; screening damage to patios and additional trees down. Board has signed up with Fema to have tarps installed on damaged roofs.

LAKES AT TRADITION IN PORT ST LUCIE – Homes okay.  Lots & lots of trees down.  Most screen porches damaged.  Dolphin Landscape in there cleaning debris.

LANTERN BAY - looks good, just minor landscape damage. Baytowne - looks good, just minor landscape damage. 

LOST LAKE GOLF CLUB - Is experiencing street flooding, standing water at Fazio Entrance, Double Tree Drive, in the Carmels and Muirfields.  Spicewood Circle has standing water in the street. Palm Hammock has standing water in several areas. No homes appear to have flooded. Damages was mostly to screen rooms and roof tiles.  Some trees are down and will be restaked as soon as possible. Residents that own a Capri. The association has contacted the insurance companies to report damages to the exterior of the units. There is no power or phone service as of today. UPDATED:  Power restored.  Some streets still flooded, but passable.  Downed steet lights have been reported to FPL.

LOCKS LANDING - No electric.  Dock under water but boats are OK.  Some flooding in streets, passable with care.  Lock Road closed with trees down.  Use back gate. UPDATE:  Locks Road trees are removed.  Water has receded on roads and docks.  Pier OK, Still no electric. UPDATED:  have electric.

LOXAHATCHEE LANDINGS – 

MAGNOLIA BAY – Trees and street signs down again. The tennis court canopy is damaged, otherwise just minor damage.

MAPLEWOOD PHASE I – large trees down and some roof damage.

MIRAMAR ROYALE – Can't get on Hutchinson Island yet.  Extensive damage on the island due to wind and tidal surge which went thru the 1st floors of buildings.UPDATED:  Water in front lobby through door.  Pool and deck totally under water.  Pool equipment cover off.  All doors intact.  Roof damage unknown. UPDATED:  Minor damage, structure is good.  Water intrusion to some of the units.  Pool under water.  Roof is leaking.  No electric, water, cooling or power.  UPDATED: Have electric.  UPDATED:  Have water and sewer now also.  Hopefully AC by tomorrow night.  Currently extracting water from units that have been identified.

MYSTIC COVE IN JUPITER –  Looks great. Some screen enclosures down, and minimal trees.

NORTHFORK – Flooding in the streets and large trees down.

OCEAN TOWERS SOUTH 100 BEACH ROAD – 

OCEAN TRAIL 5 – Generator still down.  Some water intrusion.

OCEAN TRAILS 100 bldg – Building has been shut down completely.  No formal report on damages yet.  UPDATED: Power, AC and elevator all  operating. Pool is even back up.

OCEAN TRAILS 200 bldg – Some elevator windows blown out.  Some water intrusion.  But building is operational. Electricity is on. A/C is on but elevator is still out. UPDATED: Elevator is up and running. Minor water intrusion in some units and owners have been notified.
 

OCEAN VILLAS -  Minor damage to units.  Three cars have windows blown out.

OCEANA II NORTH – Roof damage. Water damage in recreation room.  Door was blown out and water in the main lobby damaged all the furniture. UPDATED: Still no elevator, water or sewer.  Ground floor has water and sand throughout social room and lobby only, not in units. Roof damage.  Ground floor units could have water, but can't see inside.  Hurricane shutters on ground units still intact.

OCEANA II SOUTH – Roof damage.  Sand in the recreation room and main lobby.  Swimming pool is full of sand.  A few shutters were also blown off. UPDATED: Sand in lobby level and social room.  Ground floor units have water, no breaches.  3' - 4' of sand all around ocean side, and north and south sides. No elevators, water or sewer.  Have electric but not on the ground floor, had to turn off. UPDATED:  Have water, electric and sewer.  No power to first floor units for at least two more days. Crews are clearing debris and dunes.  Elevators will hopefully be working by Friday. UPDATED:  Mail floor cleanup underway.  Have all utilities for all but the ground floor.[photogallery/photo00018892/real.htm]

OLYMPUS – Trees down.  No noticeable structural damage to homes.  

ORCHID BAY – 

OSPREY CREEK –  Minimal new damage.  Water was on, however is turned off.

PARKVIEW CONDO – Power restored, water line break is in the process of being repaired, Some minor roof leaks reported.

PASEOS – no structural damage – some trees down.

PENNOCK LANDING

PINECROFT – Roof damage and trees down.  Inspection on Thursday. .Water is up.  If any damage, please sign up in the pavilion  UPDATED: Several roofs leaked, 1 chimney on d-10 fell, pool closed (tree has been removed from the pool) Power and water restored.  Insurance adjuster will be on site on Thursday Sept, 30 @10am  Please list your name on the sheet posted in the pavalion and make a key available.

PORT SEWELL TENNIS – Some power restored, Pool closed until further notice.

RETREAT – Looked pretty good.  Some minor landscape damage and trees down.

RIVERSIDE OAKS - Everything okay.  

SAILFISH IN BEACON 21 – No power, water is running, roofs will be re-tarped Tuesday and new roofs will take two more weeks (approx.)

SANCTUARY @ HAMMOCK CREEK – 

SANDPOINTE BAY – Have power.  Minimal water damage to units.  The maintenance shed lost part of the roof, structure is intact though.

SEA IMAGES - The 1045 building roof entirely gone.  Building uninhabitable.  Pool Building and Generator Roof gone.  Generator has been removed for significant repair.  Lots of water intrusion. UPDATED:  Good News!!  The Association will be resetting the AC compressors on the platforms and should be finished by Friday afternoon.  They will be rewired and reconnected to the AC lines to your unit.  If the unit is damaged or does not work, it will be your responsibility to get working again.  The temporary roof on 1045 is holding and things are getting back to normal again.  If you are going to remove rugs, wallboard or flooring, you must make arranagements to take the material away.  PLEASE DO NOT PUT IT THE THE DUMSTER.  WASTE MANAGEMENT WILL NOT PICK IT UP WITH THE REGULAR TRASH.

SEA OATS –  Having trouble with sewer back ups. No electricity and some roof leaks.

SEA PINES – More damage to roofs.  A lot of the blue tarps blew off.  Blue roofs are signed up for and waiting on for installation.Power is restored.  Insurance inspection will be done Friday. UPDATED: Roof FEMA program signed up and A1 repairs will be installing tarps tomorrow. Water and power is restored.

SEABROOK PLACE - Monday, 12:00 PM - Observed wind damage to some street lights, some gutters, and some fencing on a few Units. Minor landscaping damage (new), but many palm trees blown over or snapped, due to high winds. One community mailbox (USPS) is down, on east side of property. A broken irrigation supply line near Unit 109 was observed and reported to Sago (contractor) for repairs. Utilities (Phone & Power) are ON throughout the property. OVERALL DAMAGE: Minimal.

SHORES- Lots of new trees down.  Some minor flooding. More screen enclosures.

STUART WEST – Roads are passable.  Some screen damage, and roof damage.  No electric.

SUNSET COVENo power.  Damage to pool deck, dock, north carport and retaining wall.  Telephone and water is up.

TEQUESTA TRACE – Some trees down, minimal.  No electric. UPDATED: More downed trees, missing roof tiles, some water intrustion, some gutters down. Pool closed.

THE ISLES – Looks good.  Tree and screen damage. 

VIA DEL MAR –  Looks good - no damage.

VILLAGEWALK OF WELLINGTON – Power is back on.  Roughly 500 trees are down, being reinstalled by priority.  Trees on streets being removed first, homes will be next.  Have 1 crew reinstalling trees now, will have 3 additional crews soon. UPDATED:  The crew is finished with the street trees. They are on Nevis and will work backwards doing the front yard trees and any trees they see on screens or pools.

WINCHESTER COURT – Several more trees down, roof damage, fences still down and screening damage to several units. Debris is being removed to outer perimeters for County pick-up. Roofing company in process of making repairs; fence materials being purchased and repairs have begun.
