Sales & Leases of Lots: Applications and acknowledgements must be completed prior to moving in with a non- refundable check in the amount of $100.00 made payable to New Haven @ Abacoa H.O.A. and processed through Bristol Management Services, Inc. for a Certificate of Approval to be issued. The Board of Directors passed a resolution at the March 2002 Board of Directors Meeting to continue to collect a Capital Contribution on any lot that is sold. This information will be given when the estoppel information is requested. The forms needed to complete this transaction are located on the Bristol Web Site, or you may call customer service for copies to be mailed or faxed. Your Association Documents are also available.

Landscaping / Fertilization & Pest Control:
Beginning on April 1, 2002, New Haven at Abacoa will have a new contractor. The contract was awarded to Total Maintenance Building Services, Inc. Anyone wishing to participate in back yard service, which includes the fertilization and pest control, needs to contact Total Maintenance. A coupon for your use has been provided in this mailing.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS:

They have a fiduciary responsibility to enforce the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions that were established when each owner chose to become a part of this community. Your Board members are as follows:

Tom Osborne, President
Robert Sendler, Vice President
Allen Salowe, Secretary
Keith Ennis, Treasurer
Mark Ciarfella, Director

Bristol Management Services, Inc. is the managing entity of the Association's common areas. We provide a 24 hour a day service for emergencies. For Work Orders relating to landscaping, irrigation, fertilization and pest control, please call Customer Service. All other inquiries, please contact Kathleen Johnston, the assistant to the Property Manager. Please call 575-3551 or e-mail bristolmanagement.com.

PARKING:
The streets throughout the New Haven Community were not designed for parking on both sides of the street. There are many areas where no street parking is allowed at all due to the width of the roadway. Street parking is only authorized as indicated by the white strips. Vehicles should be parked in the direction of the traffic. Please remember this is a Security and Safety issue for our neighborhood. Boats, commercial vehicles or pick-up trucks should not be parked on the street and should be confined to the garage over night.

PETS:
The number one complaint that the Association receives is in regard to owners that do not pick up after their pets and do not leash their animals. This is a violation of the Association's Documents and The Palm Beach County Public Safety Department Animal Care and Control Division. Dog stations have been provided throughout the community for Your convenience. Please remember to pick up after your pet!

FPL LIGHT POLES:
To report a light pole that is not functioning properly, please write down the seven-digit number that appears on the brass tag on the pole and call Bristol Management Services, Inc. Customer Service. Also, please note we need an approximate street location.

GARBAGE CANS & RECYCLE BINS:
Many of the New Haven residents are not bringing in their garbage cans and recycling bins after the scheduled pickup days. This has a negative impact on the aesthetics of the community. Everyone's schedules are so busy that we may forget how this can impact our community. If you travel frequently, alternatives would be to set out plastic bags or ask a neighbor to bring in your can or bins until you return.
